Weigh Station

Established in 2019 as a cultural association, with Cooperativa 19 among its co-founders, Weigh Station contributed to the regeneration of Waaghaus (Casa della Pesa) — a historic building now home to Waag, a cultural hub in the heart of Bolzano.

Weigh Station is a creative hub that brings together a community of young cultural and creative professionals working in South Tyrol and beyond. It is an evolving space for experimentation and professional exchange, engaging with key themes of contemporary innovation in response to the needs of cultural and creative practitioners. The project supports professional development through training workshops, encourages networking and collaboration through expert-led consultancy, and promotes creative production through open calls and support schemes such as WS Call and Tabula Rasa, dedicated to cultural and creative projects rooted in the local context.
At the heart of Weigh Station is WS Wall, a community of more than 600 young creative professionals from South Tyrol.
