AAAA | Associazioni Artistə Alto Adige

From 2019 to 2025, Cooperativa 19 supported and coordinated nine local artists’ associations by activating and supporting an informal network comprising Lasecondaluna, Club Arcimboldo, Circolo Sant’Erardo, Associazione degli Artisti della Provincia di Bolzano, Amici dell’Arte, FIDAPA (until 2023), Istituto per la Grafica d’Arte Merano, Circolo Fotografico Tina Modotti (until 2022) and FIDA (until 2021).

The first step of this initiative was the large-scale exhibition Home Sweet Home, curated by Gabriele Lorenzoni and held at Centro Trevi in September 2020. In 2021, on behalf of the AAAA network, Cooperativa 19 organised a programme of activities ranging from art exhibitions to in-depth talks with guest experts, offering opportunities for exchange and discussion around the local and wider art scene. In 2022, this work evolved into an artist mapping process, culminating in the publication of the website www.artistialtoadige.com — a digital archive that reflects the rich and diverse artistic landscape of South Tyrol and serves as a showcase for the activities promoted by the AAAA network. In the ARTISTS section of the website, the participating artists are presented through detailed profiles, including key information about their artistic research and images of selected works.
