Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home is part of the cultural project AAAA – Associazioni Artistə Alto Adige, which focuses on activating and developing an informal network of artists’ associations in South Tyrol, including Amici dell’Arte, Associazione degli Artisti di Bolzano, Circolo Fotografico Tina Modotti, Circolo Sant’Erardo, Club Arcimboldo, FIDAPA, Istituto per la Grafica d’Arte Merano and Lasecondaluna.

From 2019 to 2025, Cooperativa 19 supported and coordinated the artists’ associations of South Tyrol in the development of a network project aimed at defining joint initiatives in support of the artists they represent. The first step of this initiative was the exhibition Home Sweet Home, curated by Gabriele Lorenzoni and held at Centro Trevi in September 2020.

From 2021 onwards, on behalf of the AAAA network, Cooperativa 19 continued this work through a programme of activities ranging from art exhibitions to in-depth talks with guest experts, creating spaces for exchange within the local and wider art scene.

In 2022, this work evolved into an artist mapping process, culminating in the publication of the website www.artistialtoadige.com — a digital archive that reflects the rich and diverse artistic landscape of South Tyrol and serves as a showcase for the activities promoted by the AAAA network.

In the ARTISTS section of the website, the participating artists are presented through detailed profiles, including key information about their artistic research and images of selected works.
