BZ48H - short film contest

Bolzano in 48 Hours is a filmmaking contest that poses a creative challenge: to produce a short film within a 48-hour timeframe, from concept to post-production.

The contest’s main aim is to tell stories set in and inspired by the city of Bolzano, capturing its atmosphere and character. The challenge is open to everyone — professionals, students and amateurs alike — from the local area and beyond.

An expert jury awards the Best Short Film prize, supported by the Municipality of Bolzano, and selects ten finalist short films. These shortlisted films may also receive additional awards, offered by the project’s partners, and are showcased during a free screening open to all.

BZ48H brings together people interested in visual storytelling and provides a space for exchange and creative experimentation.

Artistic direction: Giuseppe Zampella and Valentina Parisi.
